The Empowered Caregiver Series

This 3-part educational series teaches caregivers how to navigate the responsibilities of caring for someone with dementia and take care of their own well-being. The topics (in this order) will include: the foundations of caregiving, supporting independence, balancing safety and managing expectations, how to communicate effectively, responding to dementia-related behaviors, and how to prepare for future care decisions and changes, including respite care, residential care, and end-of-life care.
