Solterra offers residents a serene escape through The Retreat, a tranquil gathering space designed for connection and relaxation, and a sparkling Pool, where neighbors can cool off, socialize, and enjoy resort‑style leisure right at home. Use of The Retreat and Pool are subject to these policies and procedures:

The Retreat

The Retreat at Solterra is a stunning venue for private parties — weddings, anniversary parties, birthday parties, quinceañeras, baby showers, and more. 

To reserve or rent the Retreat it is necessary to sign a rental contract with the Retreat staff member. Contact the Retreat at 303-980-5450 to set an appointment or to make any inquiries about the pricing and/or availability.  

If the Retreat is rented for an event, the facility and patio will be closed for anyone who is not a guest of the rental event. The pool, however, will remain open during normal operating hours if the Retreat is rented. Please be respectful of their time. If you are unsure if the event is occurring, you may call the office at 303-980-5450.

​If you are interested in hosting a community event utilizing the office hours Wednesday evenings only, please complete the Activity/Group Application Form and email it to communitymgr@crsofcolorado.com. This form will be reviewed by the community managers for accuracy before it is presented to the board for final approval.

The Pool

Pool Information

Pool hours are 10am-8pm daily, and holidays might affect operating hours.

There will be safety checks every 2 hours for 15 minutes and no one is allowed in the pool during this time.

According to federal law, adult swim is not allowed during operational hours, because it violates the Federal Housing Act (FHA), as it discriminates against families and children.

No pool occupancy is allowed without lifeguards. No one is allowed at the pool outside of operating hours. 

​Residents are permitted to bring 2 guests per day per household to the facility Monday through Thursday.

It is acceptable to bring your own food and beverages to the pool area. However, they must be consumed in the designated areas, not on the pool deck.

These rules and regulations are designed to promote the safety and enjoyment of residents and their guests.

The following are prohibited from the pool area:
  • Glass containers
  • Alcoholic beverages
  • Grilling or open flames
  • Smoking, vaping, and/or tobacco products
  • Food in or adjacent to the pool. Food should only be consumed on the upper deck area. • Chewing gum
  • Animals, other than service animals
  • Foul, abusive, or excessively loud language.
  • Excessively loud radios or other electronic devices
  • Conduct detrimental to safety, such as running, pushing, dunking, rough housing, spitting and/or throwing water, and diving in the shallow areas
  • Only swim noodles and floatation devices that are less than 36” in diameter are permitted in the pool, so the lifeguards have clear visibility of the pool.
  • Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, etc. Strollers are permitted and must be wheel-locked when unattended.
  • Balls, other than Nerf and inflatable plastic beach balls
  • Cut-offs or shorts. Proper swim attire is required.
  • Plastic disposable or cloth diapers. Swim diapers are required.
  • Persons having infectious or contagious diseases, open sores, bandages or recent vaccinations are not allowed in the pool area for the safety and consideration for others.
Rules and Regulations
  1. If the pool reaches maximum capacity, a sign will be posted, and no additional pool users will be admitted.
  2. Residents must check in with the attendant to enter the pool.
  3. Residents are permitted to bring two (2) guests per day Monday through Thursday.
  4. Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult over the age of 18. Non-swimmers must always be in direct contact with an adult in the water. Persons between the ages of 12 and 17 must be accompanied by an adult to enter the pool unless a Minor Release Form has been submitted to the Retreat staff.
  5. All individuals who will be in water higher than chest deep may be subject to a swim test.
  6. Pool users are responsible for damage to property caused by their family and/or their guests.
  7. Pool users are responsible for disposing of their trash in the proper receptacles and cleaning food items from the table and deck area.
  8. The District and lifeguards are not responsible for lost or stolen articles or damage to any personal items.
  9. Lifeguards must always be obeyed. For the safety of the pool users, lifeguards reserve the right to remove anyone who does not comply with the pool rules and regulations or their directions.
Disciplinary Policy

If the District Manager, in their sole discretion, determines that any user has engaged in conduct contrary to the Policies and Procedures, disciplinary measures shall be administered by the District Manager as follows without the necessity of any action of the FRMD Board:

  • First offense – offender given a verbal warning
  • Second offense – offender removed from premises
  • Third offense – offender restricted from the Recreation Amenities for one (1) month
  • Fourth offense – offender restricted from the Recreation Amenities for one (1) year

All property owners or residents must complete the pool registration forms. Online completion is encouraged, but the forms may also be downloaded and returned to the Retreat office.
