Trash & Recycling

Trash services are provided by the Solterra HOA. Trash is collected by Waste Connections. Solterra's trash day is Wednesday, with recycling picked up every other Wednesday (the yellow weeks on the calendar). Please have your trash out by 7:00 am to avoid missing pick-up!

Refer to the recycle calendar below for information on trash and recycling pick-up days. Your holiday collection schedule will run 1 DAY LATE if your normal pick-up day falls on or after the holiday within the same week, unless the holiday falls on a weekend day.

Trash Services Provided

• Each owner will receive one trash container and one recycle container provided per the HOA contract.
• Any additional trash or recycling outside of the containers provided WILL NOT BE taken from the curb within the contract price.

Owners who have additional trash have 2 options:

1. Place additional trash or recycling on the curb when needed with the understanding that you will be billed directly from waste connections at a rate of $4 per bag. Bags must be clearly marked or they will be considered trash. If you feel you will have extra bags more than once a month you should choose the next option.

2. Rent an additional trash and/or recycling container through Waste Connections for $5 per month. To rent additional containers owners will contact Waste Connections directly at 303-288-2100. Trash bins must still be stored per the Residential Improvement Guidelines.

Container Replacements

If you have a broken container from age or from damage by the trash company you can receive a new one for free.

If your container is damaged by any other means, there is a $45.00 charge for a replacement.
